Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Newlands Peak. By renting an apartment or unit at our establishment, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Guest") and Newlands Peak ("the Management").

1. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • A deposit or full payment, as specified at the time of booking, is required to secure your reservation.
  • Payment methods accepted include credit cards, bank transfers, or other options as provided by the Management.
  • Outstanding balances must be settled before check-in unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out time is by 10:00 AM.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
  • Valid identification must be presented at check-in.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Refunds for cancellations will be processed based on the Management's cancellation policy, as communicated at the time of booking.
  • No-shows or early departures are non-refundable.

4. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the rented unit during their stay.
  • Any damages, loss, or excessive cleaning requirements caused by the Guest will result in additional charges.
  • The maximum occupancy of each unit must not be exceeded.

5. Use of Facilities

  • Guests may use the facilities, such as the pool, gym, and communal areas, where available, in accordance with posted rules and guidelines.
  • The Management reserves the right to restrict access to facilities due to maintenance, safety, or other concerns.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas.
  • Pets are not permitted unless explicitly stated in the booking confirmation.
  • Parties, events, or excessive noise that disturbs other guests or residents are not allowed.

7. Liability

  • The Management is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Guests use the facilities at their own risk, and the Management is not liable for injuries or accidents occurring on the property, except where caused by the negligence of the Management or its staff.
  • Any disputes arising from the rental agreement will be governed by the laws of South Africa.

8. Privacy Policy

  • Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for reservation and communication purposes.
  • The Management will not share your information with third parties without your consent unless required by law.

9. Force Majeure

  • The Management is not liable for disruptions or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

10. Amendments

  • The Management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be communicated to guests as appropriate.
